Primatologist Jane Goodall Shared Aspiration to Send Elon Musk and Donald Trump on Single-Journey Cosmic Voyage

After devoting her life observing chimpanzee behavior, Jane Goodall became an authority on the hostile behavior of alpha males. In a newly published interview documented shortly before her passing, the renowned primatologist disclosed her unique solution for dealing with specific people she viewed as showing similar qualities: transporting them on a one-way journey into outer space.

Posthumous Film Reveals Frank Opinions

This notable perspective into Goodall's philosophy emerges from the Netflix documentary "Last Statements", which was filmed in March and maintained private until after her recent passing at 91 years old.

"I know persons I'm not fond of, and I would like to place them on a SpaceX vessel and dispatch them to the planet he's convinced he'll locate," stated Goodall during her interview with the interviewer.

Particular Personalities Targeted

When questioned whether the SpaceX founder, famous for his controversial gestures and political alliances, would be among them, Goodall responded with certainty.

"Yes, definitely. He'd be the host. Envision who I'd put on that vessel. In addition to Musk would be Trump and several of Trump's loyal adherents," she stated.

"Furthermore I would include the Russian president in there, and I would place Xi Jinping. Without question I would add Israel's prime minister on that journey and his administration. Send them all on that spacecraft and launch them."

Previous Criticism

This was not the first time that Goodall, a supporter of environmental causes, had expressed criticism about the former president specifically.

In a previous discussion, she had observed that he displayed "comparable kind of conduct as a male chimpanzee will show when battling for dominance with a rival. They're upright, they swagger, they present themselves as much larger and hostile than they may actually be in order to daunt their opponents."

Leadership Styles

During her last recorded conversation, Goodall expanded upon her understanding of leadership types.

"We see, remarkably, two categories of leader. The first achieves dominance solely through combat, and due to their strength and they fight, they don't last very long. The second type succeeds by utilizing strategy, like a younger individual will just confront a higher ranking one if his ally, typically a relative, is with him. And as we've seen, they endure far more extended periods," she clarified.

Collective Behavior

The famous researcher also examined the "politicization" of behavior, and what her extensive studies had revealed to her about combative conduct exhibited by people and primates when encountering something they viewed as threatening, although no risk actually existed.

"Chimpanzees observe a stranger from a nearby tribe, and they grow very stimulated, and their fur bristles, and they reach out and touch another, and they've got expressions of hostility and apprehension, and it transmits, and the rest adopt that emotion that a single individual has had, and they all become hostile," she described.

"It transmits easily," she added. "Some of these demonstrations that grow violent, it spreads among them. Each member wishes to participate and engage and turn violent. They're guarding their territory or fighting for control."

Similar Human Behavior

When inquired if she thought comparable behaviors were present in humans, Goodall replied: "Perhaps, on occasion. But I truly believe that most people are decent."

"My main objective is nurturing future generations of caring individuals, foundations and growth. But are we allowing enough time? I'm uncertain. We face challenging circumstances."

Historical Perspective

Goodall, a London native shortly before the start of the Second World War, compared the battle with the darkness of present day politics to Britain standing up Nazi Germany, and the "unyielding attitude" displayed by the British leader.

"This doesn't imply you won't experience times of despair, but subsequently you recover and declare, 'OK, I refuse to permit their victory'," she stated.

"It's similar to Churchill during the conflict, his renowned address, we will oppose them on the beaches, we shall battle them in the streets and the cities, afterward he commented to a companion and allegedly commented, 'and we'll fight them with the remnants of damaged containers because that's all we've bloody well got'."

Closing Thoughts

In her concluding remarks, Goodall provided motivational statements for those fighting against authoritarian control and the ecological disaster.

"At present, when the planet is dark, there remains optimism. Preserve faith. When faith diminishes, you grow apathetic and take no action," she counseled.

"And if you want to protect the existing splendor in this world – when you wish to save the planet for the future generations, your grandchildren, their grandchildren – then think about the actions you make every day. Because, replicated countless, innumerable instances, modest choices will generate substantial improvement."
